Guidelines Overview

Component 3 of the CaribData project focuses on strengthening the legislative and policy environment for data governance in the Caribbean. It includes the completion of two regional data legislation reviews and the development of four practical data guides. These guides will cover: (1) data sharing, (2) data reuse, (3) data communication, and (4) a template data trust agreement to support regional National Statistical Offices (NSOs) in safely and legally enabling data access. This component aims to support the development of harmonised regional standards and enable responsible data use across sectors.
