Storytelling Training¶

CaribData’s storytelling training program is a cornerstone of our vision to turn data into action. Unlike traditional data courses, this program uniquely blends technical data skills with the craft of impactful storytelling—equipping participants to translate complex statistics into narratives that inform, inspire, and drive change. Designed in partnership with The University of the West Indies and guided by global best practices, the program emphasizes data visualization, narrative development, and audience engagement.

Our course is tailored to the realities of Caribbean NSOs and data professionals, building both analytic and communication capacity. We have been careful to include our NSO partners in our course development lifecycle, adapting the program using their important feedback (see development flowchart). This training connects directly to our datathon and business model, ensuring that the insights generated are not just accurate—but also heard.
