Infrastructure Overview

In Component 1 of our CaribData project, we focus on strengthening aspects of the regional digital infrastructure, to encourage best practice data handling, analysis, and - particularly - sharing.

We carry out the following activities:

• Example assessments of:

  • Data sharing readiness on one campus of the University of the West Indies (Cave Hill, Barbados). Follow this link

• Deployment of scalable tools for data collection and for data sharing. Follow this link

• Training in our developed data handling tools. Follow this link

Highlights include the development of a GDPR-compliant data repository (REDCap) for secure data collection, management and subsequent storage, along with a structured introductory self-paced training environment. Follow this link
